FAQs about our services
What towns do you service? As of October 2021, we provide full service to Audubon, Barrington, Bellmawr, Collingswood, Haddonfield,
Haddon Heights, Haddon Township, Magnolia, Oaklyn, Runnemede, and Somerdale.
Do you board animals? We do
not. Our business is not set up in a way that our insurance would allow boarding
in our home, nor do we have a brick and mortar facility to house animals.
Do you offer overnight care? Due to Department
of Labor and Workers Compensation regulations, we are unable to offer
overnight care in your home. Ask us about our “almost overnight” services.
Can my dog play with other dogs
while you care for them? For safety and liability reasons, we do not
engage with other animals who are not being cared for within the same
household. This includes pack walking and dog park visits.
Will you bring in our
mail/packages while we are away? Absolutely! We are happy to
bring in your mail and packages under 30 lbs. We will also water your
houseplants, alternate lights, adjust your indoor temperature if needed, bring
trashcans to curb if full/return after trash has been picked up, and ensure that
your home is fully secure when we leave.
Can you give my pet medication? Yes, we
are able to administer most medications to cooperative pets, including insulin.
I have an elderly pet, will you
clean up accidents? Of course! It’s all part of the job!
Can you check on my house if my
alarm system is triggered while you are not there? In this situation, we would determine if our
staff member is currently at your property, or may have just left. If so, we
will ensure that we did not trigger your alarm system. If our staff is not
currently at your property or has been gone for some time, we will only return
to your property to meet police and will re-arm the system once the premises
have been deemed safe (regular visit rates apply).
If my pet becomes ill while under your care,
can you take him/her to the
vet? Most definitely, that is one of the reasons we require our staff to
have a driver’s license and vehicle, and why we do not allow staff to use
bicycles or motor scooters/cycles.
We just adopted a rescue dog who is not leash-trained. Are you able to walk him? For the safety of your pet and our employees, we will only walk dogs that are leash trained. If you have a fenced-in backyard, we are happy to let your dog out for play and potty, until he can be safely walked on a leash.
